The Market

Naturally North Coast and Glens Market is an award winning  roaming market that provides you with the opportunity to experience a unique artisan market in and around the

North Coast and Glens region of Northern Ireland.

Market visitors will have every sense tantalised through the colourful art and crafts, the delicious aromas, taste of fresh food produce and the sound of musicians providing a backdrop to the buzz of traders and customers chatting and laughing.

This is a true community market where the emphasis is on local support, good food and local produce, and handmade merchandise crafted with love by dedicated artisans who are passionate about what they do and love to talk about their unique ware.

Our markets are a fantastic showcase of our local culture, heritage and traditions, a perfect destination for anyone searching for an authentic experience.

Our markets can be found on a rotating schedule in various locations. Some markets may only have 15 stalls, while others may have up to 60 depending on the size of the venue and event.  We are a dog friendly market, dogs are welcome provided they are on a lead and with well behaved owners.

Look at our regularly updated market schedule and be sure not to miss this real artisan market experience.

COVID-19 Update

15th Oct 2020

Unfortunately yesterdays’ NI Executive restrictions and recommendations mean that we have to cancel any markets planned within the period of the upcoming circuit breaker.

The new health recommendations are that no unnecessary travel should be undertaken. We feel it is in the best interests of the local community to pause the markets, we do not want to encourage unnecessary travel into the area during this period.

The restrictions also state that ‘events’ of over 15 people cannot proceed, regardless of having a risk assessment in place. We are seeking further clarification regarding whether an outdoor market should be classed simply as outdoor retail or an event, but in the meantime feel in keeping with the spirit of today’s restrictions and recommendations the safest decision we can make is to halt markets until the circuit breaker comes to an end. We hope this will come soon.

This is a difficult year for many small businesses, event organisers and communities. Thank you for your understanding and supporting them all during these times.

In the meantime, you can still purchase a wide range of NI artisan produce, hampers, gifts and more at our new online store:

Or you can contact each of our traders directly via our makers directory, which can be found on our website:

Aug 2020

We are delighted to announce that we are 'Good to Go' and ready to restart the Naturally North Coast and Glens Markets on the newly confirmed dates for our August Markets.

Acquiring the Industry Standard 'Good to Go' Mark means that our market has followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, we have a Risk Assessment in place, as do our traders, and we have all implemented measures to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

There will be some changes to the market you're used to visiting to ensure we can all follow the current guidance.

  • The market is outdoor with plenty of space for Queues and social distancing

  • We will have fewer traders attending each market to allow more space for social distancing

  • The market will have a entrance and exit point

  • Access to the market will be managed during busy times to control the number of visitors in the market.

  • Please leave the market site when you've completed your shopping and do not congregate in the market area, to allow others to enter.

  • We will have a easy to follow, naturally flowing one way system in place

  • Please respect social distances throughout the market skite and while queuing

  • Signs will be in-place to remind you of the measures and guide you around the site.

  • Hand sanatiser will be available on entry to the market and at each traders stall

  • We will publish the list of traders attending each market to allow you to pre-order goods if you wish.

  • We have introduced a policy of one person/family group at a time per stall and socially distanced Queues.

  • There will be fewer hot food/drinks currently, mainly 'take home' food, art, craft, gifts, speciality food.

  • Traders will be practicing social distancing

  • Contactless transactions will be available at most stalls, although they will also accept cash and will be following  the appropriate handling and hand sanitizing requirements  to ensure they maintain a high level of hygiene in interacting with all customers.

  • Please use the sanitiser provided if you're not carrying your own, remember to maintain a safe social distance while queuing & walking around the market site and don't forget to bring your reusable bag!

Thank you for supporting the market and traders through a difficult few months.

We are sure that our customers will appreciate the measures we have put in place.

Thank you in advance for your co-operation.
